This is so sad, yet touching.

Reece Fleming was diagnosed with leukaemia back in 2004 when he was just 4 years old.

He battled the disease for years until this May, when doctors gave the 8 year old boy only a few weeks to live.

The family decided to try and help him achieve most of his goals before he would pass. And one of those was to marry his school sweetheart, Elleanor Purgslove.

Reece's mother said "When we found out that we only had a few weeks with him we tried to do absolutely everything with him that we could. Him and Ellie had been 'special friends' for a couple of years but then they broke up. We said we'd have a pirate party, and Ellie came. She went to visit Reece a few times in hospital as well."

Then during a recent laser tag party, Reece "proposed" to his little friend.

After she accepted, their parents arranged a pretend wedding at Reece's home (not the kids pictured above).

The families went out to dinner in the mayor's limousine and organized the wedding with rings and even a fictional certificate.

The kids got married on July 4th. And Reece told his mom, "I can go now," after his wedding wish had been fulfilled.

His mom added, "He was so proud of her, and we were proud of them both."

The following day after the wedding, Reece died at home with his family.

Soooooo sad!

During the funeral, the mourners followed a horse-draw hearse on foot.

His mom added, "Even on the Saturday that he died, he got out of bed and walked to the sofa. He always tried walking, right to the end, so we thought if he walked for us then we would walk for him."

What an amazing little boy.

110lbs lighter

So just a little update on my whole body transformation. i'm about 110lbs lighter since Feb 6th. No complications unless you count no being able to eat what I wish I could eat. But I deal with it. The frustration is still there but whatever. I don't really pay attention. My goal is about another 50-60lbs then I will be happy. Im hoping to hit that by the end of the year. My mom doesnt want me to go crazy but who knows, she calls me bulimic every now and then because I tend to vomit  the food when I feel sick. It's not all the time but it does happen. Anyway the before and after shot isnt that great. The before is me in 2005 near the end of graduation The after is Today, i ran to the bathroom and here you go. The other after shot is me holding the shirt back so you can see the waist.

Who wants to nominate me for What not To Wear? Lord knows with all the weight loss I dont have enough money to keep buying clothes that fit. I need that $5000

The Scale of Things

I finally broke down after about 18 years and bought a scale for the house. Since my surgery I was relying on my doctor visits to see where my progress is going. Since the operation on Feb. 6th I lost a total of 33lbs. Since October 10th I lost 48lbs. Not bad if i say so myself. And in celebration of that i ate some korean noodles (kinda like lo mein but with rice noodles) and almost choked myself to death.

Ok not really, but I have this problem now where air kinda gets trapped in my throat when i eat and there was this air between my food and my stomach and made it painful to go down that it almost made me throw up. I hate to vomit. I cry when I do. So I made those weird "im not gonna throw up" sounds. Tried to swallow it back and force it back into my stomach...or force it to my stomach. SUCCESS!! I did it. no vomiting. It jsut pretty much taught me a lesson. No celebrating with food. Need to break that habit.

I also went shopping of Sat. I won a gift Gard to Target at work. YEAHYA!! but couldnt find anythign for me there so I splurged on buying baby stuff for my brother's friend who was having a shower. Little Mac will be born very soon. This baby will be so cute 1/2 Italian & 1/2 Filipina. God I need me an Asian man so when I have babies It will have more asian-ness come out. I'm pretty much diluted in that area. My Asian-ness is so watered down I look like a totally different race..how is that even possible?

Anywho back to the scale thing. I havent owned one for so long because my weight just kept going up. What is the point of having one when it will make you depressed? But I figured Im losing it will make my ego even better...so YES!

Let my ego grow, let my ego inflate, stroke it stroke it, kiss it, love it!!
ooooooohhhh yes that feels good.

Now maybe i should celebrate with a kit kat.......or not.

You are 10:02 a.m.

You are breakfasty, like a pile of pancakes on a Sunday morning that have just the right amount of syrup, so every bite is sweet perfection and not a soppy mess. You are a glass of orange juice that's cool, refreshing, and not overly pulpy. You are the time of day that's just right for turning the pages of a newspaper, flipping through channels, or clicking around online to get a sense of how the world changed during the night. You don't want to stumble sleepily through life, so you make a real effort to wake your brain up and get it thinking. You feel inspired to accomplish things (whether it's checking something off your to-do list or changing the world), but there's plenty of time for making things happen later in the day. First, pancakes.

Ok to make fun of dead people?

  • Jan. 24th, 2008 at 9:00 AM

Well apparently John Gibson from the trusty Fox News Network thinks so. I was on Perezhilton.com and read this little snippet from John "Fred Phelps" Gibson making light of this situation. Here is the post Perez made:

"Fox News Talk Network host John Gibson announced the sad and tragic death of actor Heath Ledger on Tuesday by mocking him and making light of his untimely passing.

Disgusting!

We've been on this creep's show before and we will boycott his show in the future, unless he issues an apology.

Here's a rundown of what happened:

"Playing an audio clip of the iconic quote, 'I wish I knew how to quit you' from Ledger’s gay romance movie Brokeback Mountain, Gibson disdainfully quipped, 'Well, he found out how to quit you.' Laughing, Gibson then played another clip from Brokeback Mountain in which Ledger said, 'We’re dead,' followed by his own, mocking 'We’re dead' before playing the clip again."

Gibson called Ledger a "weirdo" with a "serious drug problem" and suggested that Ledger killed himself because he had "a serious position in the (stock) market" or perhaps "watched the Clinton-Obama debate last night. I think he was an Edwards guy, cause he saw his Edwards guy was just completely irrelevant."

Click here to listen to the audio of John Gibson's shameful handling of Heath Ledger's death.

OneRepublic sings, "It's too late to apologize." But it's not!

Say you're sorry, John Gibson, or you're no different than hatemonger Fred Phelps.

Update: Feel free to email john.gibson@foxnews.com and let him directly know your thoughts!

You can also email his show at myword@foxnews.com and the network at yourcomments@foxnews.com.

And, if you wanna email the CEO of Fox News, his info is roger.ailes@foxnews.com."

You can be damn sure I will write something to this asshole. I mean fine you have a problem with hollywood and how the public are reacting to this, but ya pour salt into the wounds of his parents you dick head!

Have you ever been tired of the same old stock footage the news puts out, like the same people smoking, kids crying, overweight people. Well one of my favorite news/entertainment people "The Daily Buzz" decided to shoot their own stock footage on overweight people for their story.

So, I went to my primary doctor to ask him to help me write an appeal for my impending denial for gastric bypass. I was there for like 20 minutes and when i got home and opened the door, my dad told me it was pointless i went to the doctors, my Gastric coordinator called up letting me know that I was approved for surgery.

We are playing phone tag right now. I need to find out the details. I will let you know when I find out.

Britney's Teen Sister Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnant

TUESDAY DECEMBER 18, 2007 09:15 PM EST

Britney Spears's 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant.

Nickelodeon, which carries her TV show Zoey 101, said in a statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

Spears and her mother confirmed the pregnancy to OK! magazine, saying she was 12 weeks along and the father is Jamie Lynn's longtime boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Aldridge's mother confirmed it to TMZ.com.

"It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," Jamie Lynn told OK!, according to the Associated Press. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."

Spears told the magazine that after confirming the pregnancy with a home test and a subsequent doctor's visit, she told only one friend – then waited two weeks before telling anybody else, including her parents.

"I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision," she told the magazine. "Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me."

Breaking the News to Her Parents
She told her parents just before Thanksgiving.

"I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious," her mother, Lynne Spears, told OK!. "She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

Aldridge's mother, Joyce Aldridge, told TMZ she was "aware of the recent interview regarding her and being pregnant" and that "we are in agreement with everything that was said by Jamie Lynn."

"Everything is fine," Joyce Aldridge added.

Spears, a high school junior who is 10 years younger than Britney, had until now escaped much of the attention about her personal life that has surrounded her sister.

Jamie Lynn stars as a schoolgirl at the fictitious Pacific Coast Academy in Zoey 101, finishing its third season next month as one of Nickelodeon's highest-rated shows.

A rep for Spears was not immediately available for comment.
